At Cybovolt, we believe that clear information is an important part of a dependable customer experience. This Legal Notice explains the key legal and safety information that applies when you visit our website, purchase a Cybovolt product, or use a Cybovolt electric bike.

Electric bikes are high-performance products that require responsible use, appropriate protective equipment, routine inspection, and careful battery handling. Please read this Legal Notice together with the Owner's Manual and the policies linked below before purchasing or riding a Cybovolt product.

This Legal Notice is intentionally concise. Detailed operational rules are provided in the following policies:

• Terms of Service — website use, orders, payments, connected services, and general legal terms;

• Shipping Policy — processing times, delivery requirements, shipping damage, missing items, and refused shipments;

If a product page, Owner's Manual, written promotion, or model-specific notice contains additional information, that information also applies to the relevant product or offer.

We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, specifications, images, and estimated performance information accurately. However, minor differences may occur, and product information may be updated when reasonably necessary.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing:

• Product images are provided for general reference, and minor appearance differences may occur;
• Estimated range, speed, charging time, and performance vary based on rider weight, terrain, temperature, riding mode, speed, payload, maintenance, battery condition, tire pressure, and other real-world conditions;
• Availability of a product for purchase does not mean that every mode or configuration is legal to use in every location;
• App features, software, packaging, and functionally comparable components may be updated over time; and
• Any safety-related or legally required disclosure controls over inconsistent marketing language.

Electric-bike classifications, motor-power limits, speed limits, age requirements, licensing rules, registration requirements, insurance rules, equipment requirements, and permitted riding areas vary by jurisdiction.

All Cybovolt electric bikes are shipped with City Mode enabled as the default factory configuration. In City Mode:

• Motor-assisted speed is electronically limited to 20 mph (approximately 32 km/h); and
• Motor output is software-limited to 750 watts.

This configuration is intended to align with commonly used Class 2 electric-bike parameters. However, the legal classification of a specific bike and whether it may be operated on a public road, bicycle lane, sidewalk, trail, or other location depend on the model's equipment and labeling, as well as applicable state and local law.

Class 3 electric-bike rules vary by state. Some states allow Class 3 electric bikes subject to age, helmet, equipment, speed, or location restrictions, while other states impose stricter limitations. Riders must review the rules that apply where they ride.

Cybovolt uses a dual-mode system. Off-Road Mode is designed for permitted off-road environments and may enable higher performance. Off-Road Mode is not intended or represented as compliant with Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3 public-road electric-bike requirements.

Using an electric bike or any product purchased from Cybovolt involves inherent risks. Riding an electric bike can result in accidents, serious injury, or death.

Before using any product, carefully read the Owner's Manual, safety instructions, warnings, and applicable product guidance. Wear appropriate protective equipment, including an appropriate helmet. Inspect the product before each ride, ride responsibly, and comply with all applicable laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cybovolt is not responsible for accidents, injuries, death, losses, or damages arising from unsafe, improper, unlawful, or unauthorized use; rider error; failure to follow the Owner's Manual or safety guidance; third-party conduct; road, trail, weather, or environmental conditions; or other circumstances not attributable to a product defect, Cybovolt's negligence, or a breach of a non-waivable legal duty.

Cybovolt lithium-ion battery packs are UL-certified for the applicable product and undergo safety testing. Certification and testing help reduce risk, but no lithium-ion battery is risk-free. Physical damage, improper charging, incompatible equipment, tampering, or exposure to extreme heat can increase the risk of overheating, fire, or explosion.

To reduce risk:

• Use only the charger supplied by Cybovolt or expressly recommended by the manufacturer;
• Charge in a suitable, well-ventilated area away from flammable materials;
• Do not charge while sleeping or when no responsible person is present;
• Inspect the battery, charger, and cables regularly for visible damage;
• Do not open, tamper with, modify, immerse, or improperly dispose of a battery;
• If a battery appears swollen, unusually hot, damaged, leaking, smoking, or has an unusual odor, stop using it and contact support@cybovolt.com promptly; and
• Do not independently ship a potentially damaged or defective battery without written instructions from Cybovolt.

Certain Cybovolt products may include GPS location, geofencing, alarms, keyless access, remote-control functions, mobile-app features, navigation tools, cellular connectivity, or optional subscription services.

Availability and performance may depend on third-party networks, GPS reception, wireless service, compatible devices, app availability, operating-system versions, permissions, and subscription status.

GPS, geofencing, alarms, notifications, and theft-deterrence tools provide additional information and convenience. They do not guarantee theft prevention, recovery of a stolen product, uninterrupted service, emergency response, or compatibility with every device or network.

Returns, refunds, delivery issues, warranty claims, and after-sales support are governed by the applicable policies linked in Section 2.

To review a service request, Cybovolt may reasonably request supporting information such as an order number, proof of purchase, model, serial number, odometer reading, photos, videos, packaging images, app diagnostics, fault records, maintenance information, or return of a replaced component.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cybovolt may deny or limit a claim that includes materially false information, altered evidence, an altered serial number, an altered odometer, falsified records, intentionally altered diagnostic information, or another fraudulent or abusive practice.

Warranty coverage is not insurance. Ordinary wear, accidents, theft, misuse, unauthorized modifications, and other excluded circumstances are addressed in the Warranty Policy.

Customer safety is important to us. If Cybovolt issues a safety notice, service campaign, product update, or recall communication, please follow the instructions promptly.

We may contact customers using the information associated with an order, account, or product registration. Please keep your contact information current.

If a notice instructs you to stop using a product or component, stop using it and follow the stated instructions. Nothing in this Legal Notice limits rights or remedies provided under applicable product-safety law.

The Cybovolt name, logos, trademarks, product names, website content, text, graphics, photos, videos, software, and other materials are owned by Cybovolt or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as permitted by applicable law or authorized by us in writing, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, or commercially exploit our content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cybovolt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, online services, third-party-dependent features, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits any responsibility, consumer right, warranty right, product-liability remedy, or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

This Legal Notice, our Terms of Service, and any separate agreements whereby we provide services to you shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

This choice of law does not deprive a consumer of any protection provided by mandatory laws that apply in the consumer's country, state, or jurisdiction of residence.

We may update this Legal Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, policies, legal requirements, or business practices. When required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
